This protocol will enter into force after the intermediary organisation obtains the international health tourism authorisation certificate.<br /> &nbsp;</li> <li>To have an infrastructure that can provide 24/7 service in at least 2 languages in order to answer calls that may come. (One of the foreign languages must be English.)<br /> &nbsp;</li> <li>In addition to the personnel who will answer the calls, to employ at least 2 more personnel who speak a foreign language. (One of the foreign languages must be English.)<br /> &nbsp;</li> <li>To have at least one of the following documents for foreign language proficiency; <ol> <li>To have at least sixty-five points out of one hundred in the Foreign Language Knowledge Placement Test conducted by &Ouml;SYM in English or the language of the international health tourist to be served, or to have an internationally recognised document accepted by &Ouml;SYM as equivalent to this score.</li> <li>To have a document showing the B2 language level in the European Language Portfolio in English or the language of the international health tourist to be served.</li> <li>Those who have dual citizenship identity must have a document showing the B2 language level in the European Language Portfolio in Turkish language.</li> <li>To have a document indicating that he/she has graduated from Translation and Interpreting Department at undergraduate level.<br /> &nbsp;</li> </ol> </li> <li>The intermediary institution must undertake in writing that it will fulfil the following matters. The fulfilment of these commitments will be taken into consideration in all audits to be conducted.&nbsp; <ol> <li>To have a website that supports at least 3 languages, Turkish and English being compulsory, to have the necessary explanations about the issues that international health tourists may want to get information on this website, to publish the health facilities with which it has an agreement and to provide detailed information about these health facilities.</li> <li>To provide international health tourists with travel insurance to cover their entire journey.</li> <li>To investigate the health facilities that are suitable for the health service that the international health tourist wishes to receive by forwarding the medical information and/or documents of the health tourist to the health facility in advance.</li> <li>Providing detailed information to the international health tourist about the health facilities that can offer the health service he/she wants to receive.</li> <li>To inform the international health tourist about the approximate service fee and payment terms by obtaining information from the health facility about the health service fee to be received by the international health tourist.</li> <li>Giving information to international health tourists about travelling, passport, urban transportation, communication, consular procedures in our country.</li> <li>To ensure the arrival of international health tourists and their accompanying persons to our country, their accommodation in our country and their return to their countries.</li> <li>To transfer the international health tourist to the international health tourism health facility where he/she will receive service, to deliver the tourist to this unit by contacting the international health tourism unit in the facility, and to pick him/her up from the facility after discharge.</li> <li>To act in accordance with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data dated 24/3/2016 and numbered 6698 regarding any information obtained by the international health tourist during its activities.</li> <li>To keep all documents related to its activities for the periods specified in the relevant legislation.</li> <li>Providing detailed information about the services to be provided to international health tourists and accompanying persons and obtaining their informed consent. International Health Tourism Intermediary Organisation Compenetency Criteria

  1. To have a Group A travel agency business certificate obtained in accordance with the Law on Travel Agencies and the Association of Travel Agencies dated 14/9/1972 and numbered 1618.
     
  2. To document that it has signed a protocol with at least 3 health facilities with international health tourism authorisation certificate. This protocol will enter into force after the intermediary organisation obtains the international health tourism authorisation certificate.
